I would like to know more about SWAT. I have seen a few vehicles around the Halifax area with the SWAT logo on them and am interested in what you guys do.
Thanks

In a nutshell, we have partnered with the Capital District Health Authority to help them ensure patient service is not affected by adverse weather.
Our volunteers (all sourced form the Nova Scotia Jeep Club) dedicate time & resources when the weather turns nasty - this past storm, they safely transported over 80 Capital Health employees to the various CDHA sites around Metro.

Cool! Thanks for the information and keep up the good work, I am not a member of the Jeep Club so that answers the next question... how does one get into SWAT? Anyway thanks for the info, and Two Thumbs up to all the guys out there in the storm, I had fun myself carting people around on the storm day, take care

Big thumbs up to the jeep gals, still curious though is this group restricted to just Jeep club members, I have a 2000 Grand Vitara, work with the military and on our snow days, obviousely have nothing going on and am interested in this worthwhile cause, thanks. ;D

At th emoment, the only volunteers we being in are members of the Nova Scotia jeep Club. Since having a Jeep is a requirement for the NSJC, it kind of limits us to jeeps.
Not trying to be brand-snobs here, but the bottom line is this whole idea started with members fo the club, and it's still there at the moment.

Well thanks for answering my questions, if it ever goes past the brand snob thing (funny) just let us other 4x4ers know, I am sure there are other (non jeep) wheelers out there that would enjoy participating in a worthwhile cause such as this. Thanks again, keep the rubber side down.

Thanks for the support tracker.
And for the record - I said this was NOT a brand-snob thing. Just want to make that clear to other readers.

i saw your post, blackandtantj. he had asked where you guys got your artwork, and wether or not it had been stolen from another website. it just so happens, i know the designer of the origional artwork, and yours is not it. it would be really nice to see it taken down, and replaced with some origional stuff. i dont blame you for using it, as it is some great design work. it is NOT however designed for this forum. there are many hours logged behind a computer to design it, and it does not belong to this site.

OK, then tell us who the designer is. Thing is I know the person who took the picture that the logo in question was designed from. Can you say the same thing and prove it?
